History
Lorna Jackson P.S. is named after the former Mayor of Vaughan, Lorna Jackson. Ms. Jackson, a long time resident of Woodbridge, was mayor of the City of Vaughan for 20 years and involved in various leadership positions within the City for over 30 years. Her leadership and zest for life was an inspiration for all.
Our school motto is: Lorna Jackson Public School: Leading Celebrating Learning Growing
Our school mascot is: The Lorna Jackson Stinger
Facilities
Lorna Jackson P.S. was opened in September 2002. We held our grand ‘official opening' on April 1, 2003.
